Where to Stay

A Modern Place to Stay in Z Hostel- Manila, Philippines

By on October 27th, 2015

Z Hostel is a hybrid between hotel and hostel where you can choose to stay in a dorm room or a private room.  One unique aspect is that the hostel employs staff from 5 star hotels and resorts, as well as staff who have experience working in the top hostels in the country.  Forget dirty bed sheets and scruffy hostel common rooms, at Z Hostel the atmosphere is more like a chic luxury hostel.  They make sure that to provide a very professional service alongside a very relaxed environment.

Z Hostel is the only hostel in the heart of the business district of Makati as well, with a rooftop bar and lounge area on the 7th floor that over looks about 5 cities in Manila.  It epitomises the concept of luxury on a budget.  Staying here means you’ll get to hang out with both locals and tourists who drink and regularly hang out at the hostel’s rooftop bar.

With specific details that the hostel clearly though about, it makes life easier for travelers.  For example, they have two sections for the lockers where guests can keep their small items in one area and another area for their large backpack.  The hostel also has beds that are a decent size, ladders that are angled to make it easier to climb, and many common areas for people to mingle and relax.  They have a lobby, cafe, game room, mezzanine sitting area, turf side roof deck, deck side roof deck, and theatre. Staying here is a great place to not only sleep, but to meet other travelers and locals, where you can truly get a feel of the city!

Dorm rooms are 20 USD a night.  Prive rooms are 45 USD a night.
