Where to Stay

A Night in Paris

By on October 19, 2015

Hotels in Paris, a never ending stories. There are the luxury temples of our dreams, and budget finds we try to keep quiet about before their prices skyrocket. Hotel Henriette represents the best of both worlds – the small boutique is luxurious enough to please even the most demanding travelers, yet affordable enough to not break the bank. Thinking about it, we should probably keep this one for ourselves… But we can’t help ourselves, so here are the facts:

Henriette’s founder has a background in fashion and that shines through every detail. Located in a quiet cobblestone street close to the Mouffetard district, checking in here feels like visiting a good and very stylish friend. The 32 rooms are all unique and were designed by decorator Vanessa Scoffier. Look out for Platner vintage chairs, Knoll sideboards, Guariche tables, and flax lights by Thomas Eyck.

Used books line the lounge, there’s a small backyard full of flowers and a winter garden surrounded with lots of natural light. Breakfast is homemade and costs 12€ (approx. 13,50$) and wi-fi is of course free throughout the hotel. Rooms start at just 89€ (approx. 101$).
