Feel at Home in Chiang Mai at Tanita House

By on October 22, 2015

Tanita House is a cute little bed and breakfast located right in the heart of Chiang Mai. It’s a family-run home that consists of a compound of chalet houses in the Thai style of traditional wooden houses, made of teak. The entire family lives at the bed and breakfast as well, giving you an authentic feel of how Thai people live!

The chalet consists of air-conditioning, a private toilet and bathroom, hot water, daily cleaning, private terraces, free WiFi, a computer on site, bacon and eggs in the morning, as well as a buffet breakfast, and as much iced-cold water, tea and coffee as you wanted.

Tanita House is enormously enchanting, as a location within walking distance of the Ping river and Warorot Market.  Sunday Walking Street, the moat the the old city, and the Night Bazaar are only 5-10 minutes away.

Tanita House was also filled with carvings and statues that you could also actually buy, and they also have a fantastic cafe that had delicious creamy cake and healthy-looking fruits shakes.

For all of these amenities, it is only 2,800 Baht a night for a 2 bed and 2 bath house or 1,400 for a 1 bed and 1 bath room. Tanita House made me feel like I was at home immediately. Everyone in the large family was really friendly, helpful, and willing to assist in any way they could.  Staying here definitely made my time in Chiang Mai better than I could have imagined.
